Bible Study Lessons For All Ages

There are many great lessons in the Bible, even if you really are not all that religious. You can think of many of the stories as life lessons no matter what you believe or where you are in your life. These can help children and adults to have a whole new view on their life, where they are going, and who they want to be as a person. Bible study lessons are great ways to present these things, but the lessons are going to have to be different depending on the age group to which you are presenting the material. Luckily, you can usually take one form of lesson and change it to another with just a little work.

When it comes to adult Bible study lessons, you can do whatever you want. You can leave the adult themes in these lessons, as they are often the focal point of some of them. There are many stories that reiterate the importance of love and acceptance, but they also deal with things like marital infidelity, abuse, divorce, and other unsavory things that you may not feel comfortable presenting to children when they are young. They may be able to touch on those types of Bible study lessons during the teen years, but not so much when they are ten and under.

Craft your adult Bible study lessons around a central theme that you have in mind. If you want to talk about loving and doing the best by your fellow man, you can find passages and stories that deal with selfless acts others have done for those that may have been neighbors or strangers. There are always going to be good examples for almost any theme. All you have to do is to take the time to look up the Bible study lessons that go with what you want to talk about.

For children, Bible study lessons should be simple things they can understand and apply to their own lives. They can learn the value of love, sharing, caring, and giving. Those are all very present in the Bible and make good starting points from which they can grow. Keep some of the darker things out of your themes if they are very young. If you need inspiration, or simply have too much trouble (or not enough time) when coming up with your own Bible study lessons, go to the Internet. You can find some examples and even some packages that you can buy.
